Spring/Summer Planned litters!

So we are destined for another busy summer with lots of puppies!

Lucy, Mei Mei, River all just got bred and fingers crossed they all took! We have waitlist already started for all of them! Ivy and Bailey will also possibly have litters this summer as well.

Genny just had a litter and they are just over a wk old. All of her puppies except 2 males are spoken for! We are excepting deposits on the last 2 boys! 🥰 Puppy picking begins May 9th!

Gennys baby daddy is not pictured on our website. He's absolutely gorgeous and I'd be happy to share pics of him if requested by anyone interested!

Lucy is due June 4th with go home dates the very end of July or early August. She was bred to Bentley and her waitlist for girls is full but we have room for boys!

Mei Mei is due June 8th, she was bred to Copper and we still have room for boys or girls on her list.

River is due the 12th and her pups ready dates will be around mid August. We have room on her list for both boys and girls as well. She was bred to Copper and has Dark Goldens.

Ivy will be eventually be getting bred most likely sometime this month with pups ready dates the end of August or sometime in September. She has English Cream in her breeding and she looks very much pure EnglishCream, thick bones woth a thick white coat. She will be getting bred to Rush who is my sisters absolutely stunning pure English Cream male with his parents being imports from Ukraine. Her puppies will be very blocky and white.

Happy Trails Homestead

Thank you for taking the time to visit our website! I (Melissa) and my husband Matt established Happy Trails Homestead in 2020.

We have owned and raised Akitas and Goldens for almost 20 yrs! I grew up with Goldens and got my first Akita in my early 20s. We have owned both breeds ever since. They are polar opposite in personality! But they are both wonderful beautiful breeds and I'm so proud of my dogs. Being able to bring joy to families as we share our love of raising happy, healthy pups! It never gets old seeing the smile on people's faces the day they get to take their puppy home. It's a lot of work and time that goes into it but those special moments make it worth all the work. ❤️

Our Puppies!

Our puppies are so much fun, playing and socializing them as much as possible is our goal. To help them adjust to their new families we do our best to help them to experience as much as we can in a controlled environment that keeps them healthy and safe! They are loved and cuddled every day and it's Darren's absolute favorite "job"! 🥰

We breed for the best temperaments and health in all of our dogs. Our goal is to keep breeding the best genetics into our puppies and I believe we have been very successful in doing that over the last several years in our breeding program!
